It’s been another busy morning at Purple HQ with the launch of another website, this time for ‘The Breast Dressed’ - a fantastic blog site offering fashion support and advice to nursing mums.
Founder of The Breast Dressed, Grace, first developed the idea for the blog whilst at home playing peek-a-boo with her 10-month old son. Looking for a hobby or project to focus her attention on, it wasn’t until returning from a family holiday that Grace had a brainwave to start a blog to share her thoughts for nursing mums looking for trendy, affordable and (most importantly) practical breast feeding clothing.
Grace noticed that most of the nursing clothes on offer doubled as maternity clothing and were often baggy, floaty and not particularly flattering. Through a lot of online shopping (and returning!) Grace was able to find clothes that weren’t only practical for breast feeding but were also stylish and on trend. All the research has gone to good use with Grace’s blog now offering unique advice to mums.
The Breast Dressed began without a logo so we produced a clever design using the ‘b’ and ‘d’ from ‘breast dressed’ to create a bra design that immediately draws the eye. The website pallet has been styled in soft blues and greys, and offers readers the chance to get to know Grace and her family a little more on the ‘About’ page as well as fantastic fashion tips in her regularly updated Blog.
If you would like to see the new website or are a nursing mum who is fed up of wearing stripes and are looking for some style advice, then make sure you check out The Breast Dressed.
