It’s been another busy week at Purple as we round off a week of launches with a website for Marwood Mellor who provide unique woolen hand crafted accessories and gifts.
Marwood Mellor is owned and run by Rosalie Marwood Mellor, a skilled fibre artisan who creates and sells fabulous hand crafted pieces from her Reeth based workshop. Rosalie enthusiastically promotes her ethos for life and respect for the planet by only working with low carbon footprint products and high quality materials, resulting in a range that is totally unique. Rosalie’s products are stocked by selected retail outlets in North Yorkshire and at Framers markets in Richmond and Harrogate. Rosalie’s passion for working with the fleece of British Sheep breeds and Alpaca herds extends to her partnership with The Campaign for Wool, an initiative that was launched by HRH the Prince of Wales.
The Marwood Mellor website features some beautiful images of Rosalie’s hand crafted pieces on both the homepage and galleries on the inner pages. A page devoted to Rosalie’s passions give users a chance to see what inspires Rosalie to create her accessories and gifts. Rosalie is keen to share her passion with others and provides courses on how to create your own hats and fascinators, with a courses page that has all the information for those who would like to learn a new skill. We have also created a blog for Rosalie to share her latest news and events with her customers. The new website is fully responsive for those who like to browse on their mobile and tablet. The site also has social Media links and a gallery where you can browse Rosalie’s latest projects.
