With the launch of the new Pokemon app in America nearly breaking the internet, the focus of the chatter in the Purple Office this week has definitely been apps!
One app in particular, called The Higher Lower Game, has become a bit of an unofficial office challenge. The aim of the game is to select between 2 options and determine which has the higher or lower number of average Google searches a month. These companies have obviously been brushing up on their SEO… Sounds easy right? Don’t be fooled by it’s simple premise, this game can be devilishly tricky, particularly when you are asked to choose which has a higher search volume, Reggae or Jaws?!
To get a high score you have to get a chain of correct answers, the more you get right, the higher your score. If you get less than 3 in a row (apparently the average score…) then the app plays demoralising clips letting you know just how poor an effort you have shown!
The current Purple Score list sits at:
Sarah : 9
Scarlett : 15
James : 63!!!
Mahendran : 3
Greg : 10
The app is available on Iphone and Android, why not try it yourself and tweet us your scores!
