Apparently Horace Walpole invented the word Serendipity in the 18th Century and it means: 'The faculty of making happy and unexpected discoveries by accident'.
But it was no accident why Serendipity Interiors of Leyburn chose Purple Creative to design and build their new website. It was simply because we are good at this. We listen, understand and work closely with our clients to create a website that reflects the vision of what they had in their minds - and more.
The business started in a small shop in Leyburn over 20 years ago and then later expanded when they relocated to the former department store of 'Berry's'. This move set in progress a series of changes to take advantage of the elegant proportions of the first floor principal room, with its imposing bay windows, and so they opened the tea room which is now a favourite meeting place for many people.
As the range of products on offer slowly increased, owners Adrian and Cath Walton, then opened a second shop in Saltaire.
With evident growth in their business it was important to embrace the digital age - hence Purple Creative was engaged to design and build a website to showcase the extensive range of household items and giftware.
