We love it when we hear from people we have worked with previously and it is great when they need us to create something special for them again. This week we were delighted to hear from Betty who we used to work closely with in her role at Milners of Leyburn.
Betty and her Mum are in the process of setting up Humble Pie, a delicatessen and fresh food take away in the village of Askrigg. They will be selling delicious baking and home cooked food in the heart of Wensleydale and we cannot wait to sample some of their delicious goodies!
Betty first approached us as the Humble Pie Bakery had originally been run by her Grandad in the very same building which they are opening in themselves. Although her Grandad had beautiful old signage with the logo on they did not have any digital artwork. Betty sent us over some family snaps and asked if we could replicate the hand painted logo from the old shop sign and provide them with the logo digitally.
We have re-created this artwork and added the surnames of Betty and her mum into the logo to show how the business has moved on to a new generation. We love the thought process behind the logo and its traditional meaning.
We wish Humble Pie Bakery lots of luck in their new venture and we can’t wait to try some of their delicious food!
