The launch of this new website for Little Seed Wild Glamping couldn’t come at a better time with the summer holidays just around the corner, we can’t think of many places we would rather spend a few days getting back to nature!
Little Seed Field are a unique glamping location in that they are based on a working dairy farm! Little Seed boast stunning views of the Yorkshire Moors and is ideally placed to explore the beautiful towns of Ripon and Pateley Bridge as well as the bigger cities of Leeds and York. Cyclists and adventurers will love Little Seed that is very close to the Tour de Yorkshire cycling route as well as lots of fantastic mapped trails. As they allow dogs you can even bring your pooch along and enjoy a real wild glamping experience. There are currently three cabins available to book each with a name inspired by the area and the wildlife. As well as being a fantastic glamping site Little Seed Field also lease their farm land for weddings and events. Joanne and Sean, the owners of Little Seed, held their own wedding and their pictures show just what a stunning backdrop the farm and wild surroundings are for a wedding.
We created both the logo and new website for Little Seed Field, both inspired by the colours in the beautiful wildlife of the location. The logo uses soft greens and purple that add to the authentic natural feel of the brand. The distinct shape of the cabins has also been incorporated into the logo and the seeds blowing from the wild grass beautifully transition into stars in the sky. Joanne was keen to incorporate as much of the location into the design of the website as possible and this has been achieved in a number of ways. The background of the slider images is an image Joanne took of a barn and the banner images capture the seasons and the beautiful views to be enjoyed at Little Seed Field. Image blocks on the homepage add movement to the page and make it easy to click around the website as well as making use of more of the lovely images. A basic booking function has been added to the website using a Google Calendar and contact form, this is a fantastic example of how new businesses can avoid paying for expensive functionality with a clever workaround.
If you are looking for somewhere a little different to spend time in the summer holidays we think Little Seed Field is the perfect place to take the family, head over to their new website to find out more.
