Crack open the bubbly and put your party hats on, we have another website launch to share with you all!
Last week we launched a new website for Stories in Stone, a project that is run in partnership with the Ingleborough Dales Landscape Partnership and the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust.
The Stories in Stone project is a four-year scheme with the aim of delivering a range of conservation and community related subject matter covering the history of the area, the natural environment, helping people to discover and access the area, and to promote knowledge and training so as to maintain the heritage of the Ingleborough Dales. The Stories and Stone project is being led by team of six members from a varied background with a passion and enthusiasm for the scheme. We have been working closely with Debbie and Don who have been lovely to work with and have made the whole build process an enjoyable experience.
The new website has been designed with the natural colours of the Stories and Stone logo in mind. The logo has been extended in the header to create a craggy dales landscape silhouette and a search bar in the header makes it easy for users to quickly find the information they are looking for. The Stories in Stone team are very active on Social Media and a twitter feed has been incorporated as a side bar on inner pages so users can get quick updates on how the project is progressing.
The main part of the website is the projects which are broken down into four categories, History, Nature, Discovery and Skills, each with a corresponding colour form the logo. The projects all have a handy map showing you where in the dales these will be carried out and the placeholder has been styled with the logo colours and icons.
We are delighted to have played our part in this exciting project and look forward to regular updates and progress pictures from the team on their Social Media feeds! If you would like to know more or maybe even volunteer some of your time to this project then head over to the new Stories in Stone website.
