It’s been a busy month here at Purple with no less than 5 sites being pushed live! We’ve been working on everything from a sliding wardrobe eCommerce site to a gorgeous site for a local artist. Here’s a quick rundown of each site, as you can see every site be it template or bespoke is perfectly tailored to suit our client and their industry. We love a challenge so if you’re looking for a new website for your business get in touch to see what we could create for you!
First up was an eCommerce site for Sliding Wardrobes-a long-running family business who wanted to take their product offering online.
Currently the site offers bespoke doors by allowing customers to upload their own measurements. The second stage of the website launch will allow users to purchase fixed size doors to give their home a re-fresh. The range of products on offer is huge, but the team at Sliding Wardrobes have worked closely with Sarah and Kieran to ensure each product is accurately named and presented on the site. Customers can create their own bespoke storage system by selecting an assortment of drawers, shelves and railing options paired with furniture including bedside tables and chests of drawers.
If you’re looking to give your home a re-fresh with some stylish fitted furniture take a look at the site just here, if you have any questions the team are extremely helpful and willing to help you through the process!
Sue Dewhurst is an extremely talented local artist. Her portfolio features everything from beautiful landscapes of barns throughout the Yorkshire Dales, to her humorous series ‘Owd Lasses, a collection of miniature paintings inspired by characters she has met in Yorkshire!
Sue’s website uses our house template with a few twists that make it feel very unique to Sue. As Sue has fantastic images and artwork to show off, we wanted to make sure there was plenty of room to do this so have deepened the banner giving it a more commanding screen presence.
Sue is always adding to her portfolio and needed an easy way to keep this up to date on her website. We used galleries that Sue can easily add to herself and added a button to her Etsy shop where users can purchase the prints they have viewed.
As well as developing a new website, Sue has also taken part in 1:2:1 mentoring sessions where we have helped Sue with her social media presence and making the most of her shiny new website! Sue has been a pleasure to work with every step of the way, if you would like to see more from this inspiring local artist head over to her website now!
We were approached by Dennis from McLuckie Projects to produce a template site to showcase the diverse range of construction work they have carried out in the retail and commercial sectors.
The site features some stunning imagery of their work-you may recognise some of their projects within the local area! The layout and colours of the site were kept simple so that the users focus is on the imagery and informative text on the site. The About Us page details a full timeline of the company up to the present day and makes for an interesting read while the Projects page features a simple layout alongside high-quality images of the companies most recent work.

We first met Geoff when he joined us on one of our Digital Marketing Workshops and were so excited when after the first day of the workshops, he set up his very own YouTube Channel!
Geoff then approached us to create a template website for G-Wiz Training after previously having a frustrating experience with another company. We created a site which is full of handy informative about what Geoff can offer his clients while incorporating lots of bright, colourful and diverse images paired with icons to break up the text and ensure the site is eye-catching.
If you’re looking for a training provider in Leadership and Management, HR and Personal Development we’d recommend taking a look at how Geoff could help! We love the bright colours and friendly tone of the content Geoff has opted for which helps G-Wiz to stand out in the corporate world! Why not check out Geoff’s YouTube Channel too where he has uploaded a fab video giving you a flavour of his training style and some really helpful tips about managing minor misconduct.
Again, we met Ken when he attended one of our first ever Digital Marketing Workshops! We have now worked together to create a site to showcase his knowledge and services within the waste industry.
Ken is extremely knowledgeable about industry trends as well as being aware of the issues faced by businesses looking to responsibly dispose of their waste. Unfortunately, there are a huge amount of waste disposal companies who choose to ignore the laws and industry guidelines which ultimately has a extremely negative impact on the environment. Ken prides himself on working with responsible waste producers and processors and helping them nurture relationships to benefit both parties.
The site features Ken’s chosen branding through his logo and choice of colours. We are also working on a new tool to integrate into the site which allows Ken’s contact to find each other through the ‘Waste finder’ tool as well as a digital strategy for The WasteVyne to aid Ken in growing his presence online.
