The project
The FIT Group Our first Umbraco site was for someone very close to home: our very own Amanda, and her business, The FIT Group.
The FIT Group isn’t just about fitness. It’s about taking time out, connecting with others, and building a sense of community. Amanda has created something that goes way beyond your typical class setup, offering everything from Vinyasa Flow yoga and Yoga Nidra to wellness retreats and community events. It’s all about creating experiences that help people feel good, mentally and physically.
Why we’ve added Umbraco to our services
We are (and will continue to be) big fans of DNN. However, we believe that no single CMS is "better" than another; rather, different platforms offer different advantages depending on the project’s requirements.
By adding Umbraco to our toolkit, we’re ensuring we can offer our clients more versatility. Umbraco stood out as a highly flexible, "developer-first" CMS. It provides a blank canvas that allows us to build bespoke features without restriction - making it a fantastic alternative alongside our established DNN workflows.
Our Senior Developer, George, led the charge on this build. He found that having another robust platform to work with allowed for fresh creative approaches, ensuring we can always match the technology to the client's vision.
