At the end of March we excitedly launched a gorgeous new site for a brand new local business! You may have seen a new name pop up on your Facebook and Instagram feeds, well now there is a website to match!

We’ve been working with Alison Laws of White Rose Retail Consultants to create a site which showcases the impressive knowledge she has of the retail industry and how she is now helping Dales businesses grow their presence and increase their offering. Alison has enjoyed an extremely successful career within the retail industry spanning over 30 years but decided to go it alone following the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic. Alison offers a variety of services to help retail outlets grow, including everything from financial planning to visual merchandising and event planning! She has worked with some of the largest names on the highstreet and under her new business name is now working with a number of local names as we head out of lockdown in 2021.

The most important thing for Alison was that visitors to the website understood the range of services she was able to provide and also easily get in touch with her. 

As Alison provides many invaluable services, we had to think about the best way to display them for easy navigation and locatability. Given that each service didn’t require reels of information that would fill their own page we decided to implement a clever piece of functionality - The accordion. This meant that all services could reside on the same page and visitors can choose the services they would like to know more about. By simply clicking the service, the information drops down and is neatly displayed, much like an accordion opening and closing - clever right? Take a look at it in action right here.

To make sure that visitors to the site knew how to get in touch with Alison, we made sure that her contact details were always available in the top header area and also in the footer area too. Finally, putting the cherry on top with a clear contact page, visitors have all the necessary details to get in touch and connect with Alison through social media too!
