In our final Purple 2021 resolutions post Amanda and Greg share a little bit about the challenges they've face this year - as well as some of the positives to come out of the madness that has been 2020. We hope 2021 goes a lot more smoothly for all of our team - and all our friends and clients too!

1.What is your New Year's resolution for 2021?
Thinking about 2021 and inlight of the rollercoaster ride I have had in 2020 does not empower me to set any major goals but having a positive attitude to life is something I always try to strive for - so here’s to beginning 2021 with this positive vibe.
2. What is your biggest achievement of 2020?
2020 for all of us has been a challenge and I think that having kept healthy both physically and mentally has been my greatest feat. I also had the pleasure of joining a new family; something I would never have envisioned and who have played a major part in my life; making me smile and laugh out loud at the messages and video calls, so here’s to Purple!
3. What are you looking forward to/excited for in 2021?
I have now found my new home! I moved to Richmond at the back end of 2019 and spent a year renting to see if I loved the area as much as I thought. The beautiful countryside, wealth of stunning walks plus surrounded by friends and family, and a place I can call my own - bliss!
4. What do you want to learn more about in 2021?
Following on from the new home theme I really feel I should learn to appreciate gardening. My parents had a lovely garden and it’s something I have never considered but perhaps it’s time to give a new hobby a chance. I would also like to enhance my love of cooking by moving towards a more vegetarian based diet.
5. What 3 words would you choose to describe your 2020?

1.What is your New Year's resolution for 2021?
This year I am reverting back to my resolution of not making resolutions!
2. What is your biggest achievement of 2020?
Managed to get the fittest I have ever been in decades! through swimming 100+ lengths in 55 min sessions, 3 times a week, and I bought a road bicycle and put in some decent rides & times.
3. What are you looking forward to/excited for in 2021?
I think 2020 has taught me to take each day as it comes and enjoy that, rather than focus too far ahead, though I have been researching some long-distance footpath walks and depending on what happens, may do one in 2021.
4. What do you want to learn more about in 2021?
Professional skills - learn a bit more After Effects / Premiere Pro. ‘Hobby skills’ - I hope to do some more electronic soundtrack work (did one in 2020 for a local filmmaker) - I’ve had some encouraging feedback from other electronic artists (including one of TV’s ‘Goggleboxers’ who produces electronica music in their spare time!).
5. What 3 words would you choose to describe your 2020?
Weird, weirder. Hopeful.
