A new website for The Marie Collins Foundation
The Client

We have recently launched a new website for a truly amazing charity, The Marie Collins Foundation. The charity supports children, young people and their families across the UK who have been affected by Technology Assisted Child Sexual Abuse (TASCA). This amazing charity works tirelessly with survivors and works alongside the police, education providers and policy makers to protect vulnerable victims and ensure their voices are heard.

The Brief

The new website needed to display a large volume of information in an easy to navigate manner. It needed to tell people about the charity as well as allow survivors, young people, parents / carers and education providers a clear route to find specific information that they were looking for.

The site needed to be accessible for all users enabling visitors to change the appearance of the site including font size, colour and contrast levels as well as the language using Google Translate.

There also needed to be a password protected area of the website where the Marie Collins Foundation could share sensitive documents with Global partners and stakeholders.

What We Did

We worked incredibly closely with a team at the charity to create a user friendly page structure and a clean design that would make the site as user friendly as possible for its visitors. The site has features such as news, events, document repositories and an area where industry professionals can register and then be approved to access important and relevant information.

Before the site was launched we ran a training session to enable the team to make updates to the site to make sure it continues to be an excellent and up to date site full of relevant resources and information.

The Outcome

We are continuing to work with the Marie Collins Foundation to look at ways they can offer resources and training through a global platform for professionals responding to TASCA.

They Said

“Marie Collins Foundation are delighted with our new website created by Purple Creative Studio. The process has been seamless, the team at PCS have been patient and supportive throughout. Big thanks to all for their help in getting the website live and the ongoing training for us to develop and edit the content. We would recommend Purple Creative, we’re already missing their smiling faces during our development meetings!”
