We are excited to announce the launch of a new website this week for Nethergill Farm, an eco-farm offering self-catering, wildlife Shippon and observation hides all based in the Yorkshire Dales.
Nethergill farm is owned and run by college sweethearts Fiona and Chris Clark. After beginning their farming career rearing pigs on the Loseley Park Estate near Guilford, they sold their business and retrained in Graphic Design and Marketing with the end goal of one day owning and running their own farm. Their dream has been realised in Nethergill Farm which the couple bought in 2005 and completed the development of in 2014. Nethergill Farm boasts 2 self-catering haylofts, a wildlife Shippon and two observation hides along with the affectionately named ‘Bertha’, their biomass boiler that provides all the heating on the farm along with hot water. Eco credentials are at the heart of this farm with the couple also installing enough solar panels to supply 75% of the electricity on the farm!
The new website has been given a fresh new look, with a new soft green colour scheme and a simplified menu that can be navigated easily. Users can easily browse activities, book visits and learn all about the environmental work done on the farm and surrounding countryside. The new website has also provided Fiona, who is a fantastic artist and paints beautiful animal portraits, with a place to showcase her artwork. Users can browse a gallery and purchase paintings directly from the website. As with all our websites it has also been made fully responsive across all platforms making for a great user experience no matter what your viewing device.
We think the new website looks great. If you would like to see for yourself, or like us are hoping for a break in the weather and would like to arrange some outdoor activities, you can view the new website here.
