We’ve been lucky enough to work with a number of clients who have secured funding to support their businesses over the last few years, and we’ve helped them to get online or develop their digital presence. There are a number of grants and opportunities you may be eligible for, and here are just a few available to businesses in our locality.
Richmondshire District Council Small Business Grant Scheme
Our local council are continuing to offer grants to small business. The Richmondshire District Council's Small Business Grant scheme is currently open for applications and can provide support up to the sum of £1,000. This is designed to support businesses no older than 36 months and with no more than 5 employees. The application deadlines for 2023 are 30th January and 27th March, so there is still time to apply. Digital Drive County Durham
If you're slightly further afield and your business is located in County Durham then Digital Drive may be able to help. They can provide SMEs with grand funding support of up to 40% towards digital projects, including websites, digital marketing, and digital technology and equipment to support your workforce.
NBSL North East Business Support Fund
Another opportunity for businesses in County Durham is the North East Business Support fund. SME’s can access up to 40% funding to support projects ranging between £2,500 and £8,000 – you can use the grant for almost any type of business support that will help your business to grow or become more resilient. This programme closes to applications in February 2023 so anyone considering applying is encouraged to do so soon! You can find out more just here.
Digital Advantage
Over the last 6 years, we have worked closely with the team at Digital Advantage to offer fully funded digital marketing workshops, support for new website development and 1-2-1 consultancy sessions for North Yorkshire based businesses.
