It may only be a four-day week, but the Purple team have been hard at work getting the fabulous Stonebeck Cheese website live!
Stonebeck Cheese are a lovely family of first-generation farmers in the Yorkshire Dales, applying their scientific background and love of the environment with a holistic philosophy to create delicious raw Wensleydale cheese. Their Stonebeck Wensleydale is a raw milk farmhouse cheese handcrafted in Nidderdale, Yorkshire. Stonebeck Cheese Wensleydale is a unique product celebrating the landscape, cultural heritage, sustainability, conservation and biodiversity of the area and was historically produced at Low Riggs Farm. The recipe is the result of lots of research by Sally and Andrew who used references from texts dating back to 1917 and 1932 together with interviews with a 101 year old local cheesemaker to arrive at the authentic recipe for their cheese.
The new Stonebeck Cheese website is a window into life at Low Riggs Farm with beautiful banner images that show of their idyllic location deep in the Dales! Each page has its own specific rotating banner showing lots of different elements of farm life and of course, their delicious cheese. If you look closely at the design you will notice subtle details like the grazing cow within the site footer, and also the burgundy highlight colour which is actually the colour of an old barn door on the farm.
It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Sally and Andrew on this fabulous project and it is evident how passionate they are about delivering an authentic product! Make sure to check out the brand new Stonebeck Cheese website where you can find details of where their cheese is stocked as well as meeting the herd!
