Over the last few years, we’ve had the pleasure of supporting lots of clients who have secured funding to develop their businesses. Through various opportunities, they’ve benefited from putting grant funding towards getting their business online or developing their digital presence. 

Grants and funding opportunities often empower businesses to invest in something they’ve longed to implement but perhaps haven't had the funds to do so, especially while being mindful of outgoing in recent uncertain times.

In light of this, we are pleased to share that round two of the capital grants for North Yorkshire small businesses and enterprises reopened on Monday 6th May. Find out more about what’s available and if you’re eligible below!

Capital grants for small businesses and enterprises

Businesses can apply for one grant of between £1,000 and £10,000 to help the lasting growth and development of your business. 

The aim of this fund is to increase business growth, productivity, investment and sustainability in North Yorkshire, so you are encouraged to consider what ‘one small change’ you need to make to help your business thrive and grow significantly!

While businesses can apply for one grant of up to £10,000, 25% match funding is required, so you have to fund 25% of the total project cost yourself.

Am I eligible to apply?

• The fund is for existing businesses with fewer than 50 staff
• Your business must be based in and have a trading address in North Yorkshire.
• This includes social enterprises and established start ups 
• You need to have been trading for a minimum of 24 months.

Applications will be accepted between the opening date of Monday 6th May and the closing date of Friday 12th July.
