It’s been a busy week for website launches this week at Purple as Kieran has been beavering away adding the finishing touches to two bespoke sites. The first of which to have gone live is C&M Property Management, a property management company based over in Middlesbrough.
It’s been a busy week for website launches this week at Purple as Kieran has been beavering away adding the finishing touches to two bespoke sites. The first of which to have gone live is C&M Property Management, a property management company based over in Middlesbrough.
Sarah and Scarlett met with Nige from C&M a few months ago now as he got in touch to get the ball rolling with creating a new site for his business. Since then the site has been developing at an impressive pace, with Nigel frequently sending over content and Kieran being quick to implement any changes.
When it came to the design of the site Nige wanted to keep it fairly simple. We took inspiration from the businesses existing property brochures and added curves to many of the images on the site. We also implemented a simple colour scheme of yellow and green to help visitors navigate the site depending on whether they are a Landlord or a Tenant. The overarching blue colour of the site came for C&M’s existing logo and we also added curved corners to features such as buttons and images to reflect the curved corner of the logo.
The site features an extensive but well organised menu, with dropdown sections to suit the two audiences. This makes the navigation of the site really simple and users can quickly find the information they are looking for. This was an extremely important focus when it came to deciding on the page structure as there is a great deal of information which needed to be made available to both Landlords and Tenants. Every page is now clearly titled and features lots of helpful information which helps to convey the service offered from Nigel and his team at C&M.
We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Nige on the project and can’t wait to hear some of the feedback he will no doubt receive on their new site.
