As February draws to a close the website launches definitely haven’t slowed down! Today we have launched a brand new bespoke website for Friends of the Friarage to showcase the work they do and support their fundraising efforts.
Friends of the Friarage are a Charitable Organisation which supports the medical services offered by The Friarage Hospital in Northallerton, as well as Health Centres around Hambleton and Richmondshire. They work to raise funds which allow for the purchase of medical equipment, hospital environment updates and support for innovative services. They are often responsible for the provision of gifts for those who are in hospital over Christmas too! It is their volunteers we have to thank for keeping the Friarage hospital shop open and running, operating the Hospital trolley service and offering an Outpatients Escort Service. We are delighted to have worked with them on their new website which will allow them to celebrate the invaluable work of their volunteers and continue to raise funds to support patients in care across the areas.
The new website acts to provide information on the framework of the organisation not only to inform website visitors, but to attract new volunteers to the team. The group will be posting regular blog posts to allow users to stay up to date with their latest news and fundraising news. Soon you will also be able to pledge donations though the website too which is something the team highlighted would come in useful to allow people from all over the world to donate.
The website is full of images too which the group felt was important in order for the site to look less corporate and more reflective of the charities values and the work their volunteers undertake.
It has been a real pleasure for us to work on this project, not only to have the chance to build the site, but to be able to help this wonderful cause spread the word about exactly what they do. We hope that the new site helps Friends of the Friarage continue to grow and further support our local medical services. Please go and take a look at the new site and take a look at how you could get involved too!
