You know how we love local live music here at Purple, well for the last 12 years, Allan has been playing at Richmond Live with the Atlantic Soul Messengers (now called The Messengers), and in more recent years, both Allan and Phil have been part of the organising team.

For the first time, this year are able to be one of the main event sponsors and so a number of bands, including the headliners Tom Hingley & the Karpets will be playing on the Purple Creative Stage.

Phil also plays for The Messengers now and this will be his first time appearing at Richmond Live with them.

Tickets for Richmond Live are available on the website – https://www.richmondlive.org and are great value at only £10 for a weekend ticket! There are currently 35 bands lined up to play on Fri 3rd and Sat 4th Aug, that works out at just 29p per band! You can’t even buy a track on iTunes for that!
